11. Take I-95 to Fayetteville NC and take exit 46.

12. Exit I-95 at exit 46 to NC-87 South to Tar Heel.

13. At Tar Heel pick up NC-131 South towards Whiteville.

14. You will pickup US-701 South before you get to Whiteville.

19. Follow the signs reading "US-701-Byp at Whiteville.

21. After Whiteville continue on US-701 until you see NC-130 East.

22. Continue through the town of Old Dock to Ash.

23. At Ash you are going to turn right onto Longwood Rd. This is a country road that does not have a route number but you will see Soldier Bay Baptist Church on the right hand side of the road and on the left hand side there will be a gas station right at the intersection of Longwood Road where you will take the right.

24. Continue on Longwood Road to the town of Longwood where you will turn left on NC-904 East to US-17. At that intersection there will be a gas station and a McDonalds.

Do not turn here. I just want to give you landmarks to let you know that you are getting close now.

25. Continue straight through this intersection to the next traffic light.

29. Turn right on NC-179 called Old Georgetown Road and go approx 3 miles to the next traffic light. There will be a Napa Dealer and a Gas Station at this intersection. Turn left which will be 179 Bus or Beach Dr. Continue on this road where you will drive over the Calabash River and when you see the sign for Landing II development we will be the next street Heritage Dr SW. Turn right and we are the 8^th house on the right. (

…To get to the waterway to launch your boat go out to the end of the street and turn right at the stop sign. Continue straight past three streets. It is straight ahead you can’t miss it.

…To get to the beach follow the same directions as above but follow the turn in the road NC-179 Bus approx 1 mile along the waterway until you reach a stop sign at Sharks Gift Shop… Sunset Beach Fire Dept… and Hershey’s Ice Cream Store. Turn right but make sure that you attempt to get there any time but on the hour because that’s when the bridge opens to let boats through unless it is a commercial boat and that is on demand. You can fish there on the waterway and further on down on concrete piers. There is free parking straight ahead on the island up by the gazebo or across the street from the shops. There is paid parking right next to the gazebo parking lot where you can also park and fish from the pier.

…To get to the Food Lion follow the directions to the beach but turn left at the stop sign and continue on NC-179 Bus to the next traffic light which intersects with NC-904. The Food Lion is on the left. Walgreen’s and CVS is on the right and there is another gas station at that intersection. If you continue on NC-179 Bus this will take you to Ocean Isle Beach.

… To get to Calabash, and South Carolina turn left at the stop sign at the end or our street. Turn left at the traffic light at the Napa Dealer and gas station. If you turn left at the next traffic light in Calabash there are quite a few restaurants on that street and at the docks that serve Calabash style seafood (a light batter dipped fried fish which is what they are famous for). There are also shrimp boats selling there catch for the day real cheap at the docks on the Calabash River if you’re interested in cooking in or taking home. If you continue straight through the traffic light in Calabash at Callahan’s which is NC-179 Bus this will take you into South Carolina and meet at US-17 South. Take a left on US-17 and stay on that to find Parson’s Table , Pat & Mike’s, Barefoot Landing, etc. There is another bar and restaurant in Cherry Grove called Captain Poo’s Blue Marlin. It’s a biker country type place with live entertainment. Take US-17 over the waterway bridge and get off at Cherry Grove Beach exit. Go to the traffic light- turn right at the Hampton Inn go under the bridge that you were just on and turn left. There is a sign there.
