CUNAN

FIRST 540 MILES

This family of  birds won Combine and club races as old birds plus average speeds. I won the 540 mile race in old birds 98 with a resettled cock Cunan #1582 who flew 13 hr. 58 min On this day  his yearling niece took  5th with only 5 day birds in club she must of flew 15 hr or more. All that and only as a yearling . In 1999 this same hen as a two-year-old was equal first 540 miles.  On a 419 mile race  in the 1998 series of races Cunan went back to the old loft and tried to get in for 15 min  he ended up taking 3rd on that race anyway.,

CUNAN SISTER WON THE SCRANTON FUTURITY IN 1994 BEING ONE OF ONLY  TWO DAY BIRDS.  I HAD ON THE DROP, WELL INTO THE DARK. CUNAN BROTHER HAS  BRED THE FATHER OF THE CALIF. STATE RACE WINNER IN 1999 FOR BILL DAHMEN WINNING THAT RACE BY 20 MINUTES AND ONLY A FEW DAY BIRDS CLOCKED.
